I've been here many times since discovering this hidden gem! The staff are friendly & the food is delicious! The location is really central but also really chilled and relaxing ! Highly recommend!
Whenever we come to Melbourne to visit, we always make a beeline to Hot Poppy. Jodie and her hardworking team give great service and make great chow. Always have the Full English which comes with extra touches like pork chipolatas with pan fried onion, plus a sticky dipping sauce, proper mushrooms, taters, awesome sourdough, eggs any way you like, top draw bacon and tomatoes. Got chocolate served with marshies and whilst I don’t drink Java, my partner says the coffee is good. Next time I must try the Cuban sandwich, but somehow always get pulled back to Hot Poppy’s breakfasts! Wish Hot Poppy was in Adelaide..
Great coffee and fantastic breakfast. Lots of great choices of cheeses with their morning breakfast menu.
